The Manx National Rally will run from Friday 9th May to Sunday 10th May 2008. Services 1, 4, 11 and 19 will be affected. You can download a PDF from the downloads page, which explains exactly which services will be affected.

Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May, will be operated as a Saturday Service.

Bus stop opposite Clay Head Road |
Following concerns relating to road safety, the bus stop opposite Clay Head Road is permanently suspended. Alternative stops are located near to the Methodist Chapel (up the hill) or near to the junction with The Crescent (down the hill).

Railway Operating Dates |
The Steam Railway will operate from 17th March to 2nd November 2008. The Snaefell Railway will run from 28th April to 28th September 2008. The Manx Electric Railway (Douglas to Ramsey) dates to be announced. |

With effect from 7th November the 08:25 Mondays to Saturdays journey will run from Ballaquayle Road via Somerset Road and Stoney Road to Quarterbridge Road and not via Bray Hill. Alternative bus stops to the stops at St Ninians (Ballaquayle Road and Bray Hill) and the shelter at the foot of Bray Hill will be at St. Mary’s School in Somerset Road and a new stop at the lower end of Stoney Road. |

Due to increasing traffic congestion in the Old Laxey area at school finishing time, the current 15:10 journey from douglas to Ramsey will run as a Service 3B and not via Captains Hill, glen Road & minorca Hill. |

With effect from Sunday 4th November, the 22:50 journey will run as the Monday to Saturday journey and run direct from the Brown Bobby to terminate at Banks Circus. |

Commencing on Monday 14th May 2007, due to increasing traffic congestation in lower Douglas area, the following Monday to Saturday Service 3 journeys from Ramsey to Douglas will terminate at Loch Promenade and not Lord Street.
